Who are we?
Byra is led by Dominique Gonfard, a strategic workplace expert with cross-discipline experience in CRE and the built environment. Dominique's background began in architectural project management in New York City, after which she co-founded a startup workplace furniture platform, developing manufacturing outposts in Pennsylvania, Guangzhou, China, and Guadalajara, Mexico.
Commercial furniture led her to London and into the workplace sector, where she joined JLL, leading design and build projects and teams for in-house interior construction firm Tetris, most recently as Head of Operations & Development for the UK.
Dominique established Byra in 2022 as a consultancy dedicated to the growing overlap of technology, real estate, and the future of work. Byra supports a range of clients, providing subject matter expertise and offering both client- and consultancy-side experience, user empathy, and a hands-on approach to innovation strategy, planning, implementation, and management.
Dominique is passionate about innovation and the potential for achieving a truly connected built environment through technology. Dominique serves as Operating Partner to London-based Concrete Ventures, a seed- and series A- fund investing in PropTech, ConTech, and the Future of Work.
